Recognizing the special wisdom of indigenous peoples and their unique relationship with the environment is reason enough to celebrate and on May 11, 2018, in Ubud, Bali there will be a unique event happening. A celebration to bring together more than sixteen tribal groups from New Zealand (Maoris), Australia (Aborigines), Kalimantan, Bali, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Aceh and Maluku Islands. These indigenous artists and performers are the teachers, storytellers and poets of their culture. It is imperative that this legacy is shared, and passed on to younger generations, so come and celebrate on May 11-13 at the Indigenous Celebration event for three days of festival life with dance, music, food and storytelling.
This is a non-profit event, and the organisers have pledged that any money left over from ticket sales and sponsorships will be donated to registered Indonesian Yayasan and charities that preserve the culture and environment of indigenous communities.
Three days of music, dance, exhibitions, food, art, handicraft and local products and during the day all schools are welcome to attend the daily workshops at Arma with special price. Early bird tickets special prices sale now till 10 April.
